{"id":7567,"date":"2019-01-15T11:07:24","date_gmt":"2019-01-15T08:07:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ugmirror.com\/?p=7567"},"modified":"2019-01-15T11:07:29","modified_gmt":"2019-01-15T08:07:29","slug":"ambulance-truck-in-nasty-accident","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ugmirror.com\/index.php\/2019\/01\/15\/ambulance-truck-in-nasty-accident\/","title":{"rendered":"Ambulance, Truck In Nasty Accident"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At\nleast one person has perished and five injured in an accident that occurred\nalong Queensway Entebbe road in Kampala.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The\nambulance was heading along one-way from Kibuye round about towards Kampala\nwhen it collided with a trailer Reg no UBE 164 D going to Entebbe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The\nnasty accident happened on Tuesday at around 1:20am&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"540\" height=\"960\" src=\"https:\/\/ugmirror.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/ambu1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-7569\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ugmirror.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/ambu1.jpg 540w, https:\/\/ugmirror.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/ambu1-169x300.jpg 169w, https:\/\/ugmirror.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/ambu1-236x420.jpg 236w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 540px) 100vw, 540px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According\nto the Deputy spokesperson Kampala Metropolitan Police, ASP Luke Owoysigire\nconfirmed the incident and said one unidentified person lost his life on spot\nand five people were injured and currently rushed to Mulago hospital for\ntreatment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Both\ntwo drivers are on the run unfortunately one person died and his body was taken\nto the mortuary for post-mortem&#8221; Luke added<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He\nsaid investigations are still on going to establish the core reason of the\naccident<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>At least one person has perished and five injured in an accident that occurred along Queensway Entebbe road in Kampala.
