{"id":7501,"date":"2019-01-09T12:53:41","date_gmt":"2019-01-09T09:53:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ugmirror.com\/?p=7501"},"modified":"2019-01-09T13:02:51","modified_gmt":"2019-01-09T10:02:51","slug":"one-of-longest-serving-police-officer-is-dead","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ugmirror.com\/index.php\/2019\/01\/09\/one-of-longest-serving-police-officer-is-dead\/","title":{"rendered":"One of Longest Serving Police Officer is Dead"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Commissioner\nof Uganda Police Force, Josephine Kakooza has died at Namirembe hospital in the\nearly morning hours of Wednesday 9<sup>th<\/sup> January 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Josephine\nwas rushed to the hospital after suffering from hypertension attack,\nunfortunately she was not able to survive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Josephine\nKakooza was born on June 8th 1955 at Villa Maria hospital Masaka to Joseph\nKakooza and Theodore Namutebi Kakooza <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Joseph\nKakooza was a former Buganda county Chief.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Josephine\nKakooza joined the force in 1969 and was among the first women to join Uganda\nPolice in the post-colonial era.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Josephine was the director of Uganda Police Band and she was one of the longest\u00a0serving officer.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Commissioner of Uganda Police Force, Josephine Kakooza has died at Namirembe hospital in the early morning hours of Wednesday 9th January 2019.
