{"id":7354,"date":"2019-01-02T19:22:59","date_gmt":"2019-01-02T16:22:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ugmirror.com\/?p=7354"},"modified":"2019-01-02T19:23:04","modified_gmt":"2019-01-02T16:23:04","slug":"bobi-wine-wins-africas-personality-of-the-year-award","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ugmirror.com\/index.php\/2019\/01\/02\/bobi-wine-wins-africas-personality-of-the-year-award\/","title":{"rendered":"Bobi Wine Wins Africa&#8217;s Personality Of The Year Award"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kyadondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi who is famously known by his stage name Bobi wine has been selected as Africa&#8217;s personality of the year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The\nAfrica&#8217;s personality of the year is primarily an audience lead process in\nchoosing the most influential news marker over the course of the news year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The\nonline team makes the nomination and this could be a person, group of persons\nor an institution that impacted the news in the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bobi\nwine with 85% beat Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmad 4% Ebola responders in\nCongo 7% and Rwanda president Paul Kagame 4%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This\nis what Bobi Wine had to say;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Very\nhonored to be named African personality of the year 2018 by #Africanews. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This\nis very humbling, considering that I was nominated alongside some of the most\nrespected leaders on the continent. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I\ndedicate this award to all who struggle for freedom in Uganda.
