{"id":7186,"date":"2018-12-22T12:35:32","date_gmt":"2018-12-22T09:35:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ugmirror.com\/?p=7186"},"modified":"2018-12-22T12:35:39","modified_gmt":"2018-12-22T09:35:39","slug":"three-suspects-arrested-over-murder-of-medical-doctor","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ugmirror.com\/index.php\/2018\/12\/22\/three-suspects-arrested-over-murder-of-medical-doctor\/","title":{"rendered":"Three Suspects Arrested Over Murder Of Medical Doctor"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Police\nin Iganga district on Wednesday 19<sup>th<\/sup> December 2018 arrested three\nsuspects in connection to the brutal murder of Dr Ibrahim Gwaluka who was\nkilled in cold blood last week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According\nto the locals Dr Ibrahim and wife were approaching their home in Iganga unknown\nassassins who were hiding a tree killed Dr Ibrahim Gwaluka on spot the wife\nbended down since they were aiming at Dr Ibrahim hence able to survive the\naccident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dr\nIbrahim Gwaluka was in charge of Kigandaalo health centre IV in Mayuge district\nas well as well the treasurer Uganda Medical Association, Eastern region <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Police\nsaid the suspects were arrested from different districts in the region, guns\nused in the murder were also recovered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The\nsuspects are currently detained in different police station in the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;We\nwant to thank members of the public for availing us with vital information that\nled to the arrest of the suspects,&#8221; Chief political commissar AIGP Asan\nKasingye said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He\nalso said that police will work around the clock to see that the criminals are\nbrought to book.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mr\nJames Mubi, the Police Spokesperson, Busoga East region said that Dr Ibrahim was\nmurdered while traveling home with his wife but she survived<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He\nalso said that the perpetrators who killed Dr Ibrahim did not take anything\nfrom him.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Police in Iganga district on Wednesday 19th December 2018 arrested three suspects in connection to the brutal murder of Dr Ibrahim Gwaluka who was killed in cold blood last week.
