<\/p>\nPolice in Nansana has arrested a 24-year-old man for allegedly being in possession of suspected stolen items.<\/p>\n
Moses Muwanguzi a resident of Namungoona, Luyinja was found with a number of Flat Screen TVs ranging from different sizes and models.<\/p>\n
Upon arrest the suspect was asked to account for the items in his possession which he failed to provide a proof of ownership.<\/p>\n
It is believed that the suspect has been responsible for several burglaries, thefts and housebreakings offences in the areas of Nansana in recent months.<\/p>\n
The police made a breakthrough after they received a tip-off from the community about a young man who was bringing into his house flat screen TVs every four days in a week something that had raised suspicion among\u00a0 his security loving neighbours.<\/p>\n

The police had been searching for the man the previous night in connection with home burglaries in the area.<\/p>\n
So far two of the recovered flat screen TVs have been positively identified by the rightful owners who told police they had previously reported to Nabweru Police Station cases of house breaking where a number of their properties had been stolen.<\/p>\n
The suspect is currently detained at Nansana Police Station vide SD:26\/27\/10\/2018 on charges of being in possession of suspected stolen goods, house breaking and theft.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
