Yusuf Kawooya who was recently arrested in brutal way near Christ the King Church in Kampala is being held at the Chieftaincy of Military Intelligence headquarters in Mbuya.<\/p>\n
According to his lawyer Paul Kenneth Kakande, they have not yet been given a chance to see Kawooya.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe know where he is, he is in CMI and we know who are holding him,\u201d said Kakande before adding that; \u201cWe had a discussion with officials of CMI and we were supposed to meet him but unfortunately we have been unable to meet him because they told us they are in a closed meeting.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe meeting will decide as to whether Yusuf Kawooya is released. It is upon their decision that we shall be able to chat a way forward.\u201d<\/p>\n
Kakande also revealed that he was told that his client is in good condition.<\/p>\n
\u201cThey have told us that he has nothing wrong and he is enjoying himself somewhere and they haven\u2019t told us of any charges against him.\u201d<\/p>\n
He further explained that the way Kawooya was arrested has attracted so much attention.<\/p>\n
