{"id":4748,"date":"2018-06-28T10:00:12","date_gmt":"2018-06-28T07:00:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ugmirror.com\/?p=4748"},"modified":"2018-06-28T10:00:12","modified_gmt":"2018-06-28T07:00:12","slug":"clever-j-turns-to-god-becomes-pastor","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ugmirror.com\/index.php\/2018\/06\/28\/clever-j-turns-to-god-becomes-pastor\/","title":{"rendered":"Clever J Turns to God, Becomes Pastor"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Manzi Wa Nani<\/em> singer Clever J, who is in the evening hours of his music career has decided to follow Jesus and he is not turning back.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf am not singing, I be spreading the Gospel of the LORD and I am also into brick laying,\u201d Clever J said while on a local TV station.<\/p>\n<p>He further said that though he is not topping the charts, he is working on the new album and it will be out soon.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe New Album will be out soon and it has songs like Nakawele, Bakwagala Olina and many other Gospel songs. I have to sing for my God.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Clever J asserted that his conflict with Jose Chameleone are not over yet but he put the issues in the hands of God.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI still have issues with Chameleone but God will sort that out,\u201d said Clever J before adding that; \u201cJose Chameleone has been stealing my songs. Why is it that whenever I release a song, he also releases a song that is almost like mine?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Clever J started his music journey way back in 2004. After Joining Chameleone\u2019s Leone Island Crew as a backup singer, he composed his first three songs which are Yewuwo, Sirina mulala and Obusungu.<\/p>\n<p>After quitting Leone Island in 2006, he released an eight track album titled Manzi Wanani.
