The inaugural edition featured\u00a010 designers from Uganda and Nigeria, bringing together emerging brands, fashion professionals, media and consumers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bold in Africa co-founder\u00a0Nunu Mugyenyi\u00a0said the event was created to give African designers greater visibility while strengthening connections between fashion talent and consumers. Their collections explored African heritage, contemporary identity, craftsmanship and modern design, highlighting the depth and diversity of fashion talent across the continent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The programme extended beyond the runway with a\u00a0public market day on August 23, held in partnership with the\u00a0Kampala Artisan Market.
