According to President Museveni, the Venezuelan Vice President paid a courtesy call on him while returning home after attending Uganda\u2019s swearing-in ceremony earlier this week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI thank her for honouring our invitation to the swearing-in ceremony,\u201d Museveni posted on his official X account, adding that the two leaders discussed strengthening diplomatic and bilateral cooperation between Uganda and Venezuela.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Museveni said the Venezuelan delegation briefed him on the current political and economic situation in the Latin American country and both sides agreed to explore collaboration in areas of mutual interest for the benefit of their citizens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
