During the confrontation with ADF rebels, two Ugandan soldiers lost their lives. The area had previously served as a key stronghold of ADF leader Musa Baluku, which joint UPDF and FARDC forces successfully cleared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"715\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/ugmirror.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/bvc-715x1024.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-40559\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ugmirror.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/bvc-715x1024.jpeg 715w, https:\/\/ugmirror.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/bvc-209x300.jpeg 209w, https:\/\/ugmirror.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/bvc-360x516.jpeg 360w, https:\/\/ugmirror.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/bvc.jpeg 754w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 715px) 100vw, 715px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The UPDF explained that the ADF, weakened by joint military pressure, has shifted to launching <strong>reprisal attacks in isolated villages<\/strong> in an attempt to intimidate civilians and gain attention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the statement, UPDF\u2013FARDC units carried out a successful strike on two ADF groups, each numbering 10\u201315 fighters, in Chabi. The operation resulted in the death of three terrorists and the recovery of three guns.
