Damned if i do, damned if i dont! is the hard situation NUP leader Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine finds himself in over the recently passed Anti-Homosexuality Law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is now over a week since Uganda’s President Yoweri Museveni assented to the Anti-Homosexuality Law. His action received much acclaim from Ugandans across all walks of life as they celebrated the law that united them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
However, Bobi Wine who has in the past few years branded himself as a voice of ‘reason’ that resonates with majority Ugandans, has kept mute about the law, leaving many to question his stand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The opposition leader who has been described as a stooge of the west, now finds himself stuck between supporting majority Ugandans on the law or appeasing his western masters, where the vice of homosexuality is practiced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“If he shows support for the law which majority Ugandans do, he will lose the backing of his western supporters where they adore the vice. An now he cannot criticise it because he is scared of losing support in Uganda, thats his dilemma,” a source in NUP intimated to us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On Monday, he came under fire after he made a tweet criticising Zimbabwe for enacting a patriotic law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the replies to his tweet, many Ugandans attacked him for choosing to comment on affairs of other countries while ignoring the most popular law in Uganda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
