Ramadan is a time for introspection and spiritual development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Despite being one of the 12 months in the Islamic calendar, Ramadan&#8217;s date fluctuates every year since the lunar calendar is around ten days shorter than the Gregorian calendar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Muslims all throughout the world rely on moon-sighting reports to determine when Ramadan and other Islamic months officially begin.
