“We shouldn’t even attempt to discuss LGTBQ. We shouldn’t even be having this conversation in our country because adopting it would be the same as discarding our beliefs, the first lady stated on Sunday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In Kenya, homosexuality is still illegal. The Kenyan constitution’s freedom to association was violated, the Supreme Court declared, if the LGBT community was denied the opportunity to form lobby groups there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
However, President William Ruto and Kenya’s top religious figures also voiced their opposition to the decision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
