{"id":34380,"date":"2023-01-02T21:37:18","date_gmt":"2023-01-02T18:37:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ugmirror.com\/?p=34380"},"modified":"2023-01-02T22:28:30","modified_gmt":"2023-01-02T19:28:30","slug":"list-of-people-who-died-in-freedom-city-stampede-released","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ugmirror.com\/index.php\/2023\/01\/02\/list-of-people-who-died-in-freedom-city-stampede-released\/","title":{"rendered":"List of People Who Died In Freedom City Stampede Released"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Uganda Police has today released the list of people who died in <a href=\"https:\/\/ugmirror.com\/index.php\/2023\/01\/01\/nine-killed-in-stamepde-at-freedom-city-mall\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">freedom city Stampede on New Year\u2019s Eve<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The incident happened on the 1.01.2022 at around 00.10hrs, at Freedom City in Namasuba where about 400 revellers and concert goers were celebrating the End of Year\/New Year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The celebrations were progressing well, till that point where the Master of Ceremonies, recklessly made an announcement for the concert goers to move out and watch the fireworks display in the parking, and thereafter return to the concert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The deceased persons include; Kibuuka Daniel, a 10 year old, male juvenile of Gangu \u201cB\u201dzone, Kibuuka Daniella, a 14 year old, female juvenile of Gangu \u201cB\u201d zone, Kizito Ibrahim, an 11 year old, male juvenile of Kyebando Erisa zone, Hakimati Nazima, a 13 year old, female juvenile of Kyebando \u2013 Erisa zone, Nakanwagi Viola, an 18 year old female adult of Watuba-Matugga, Namyalo Mary, a 30 year old hair dresser of Ndejje-Luga zone, Nakakande Hadijah, a 16 year old, female juvenile of Massajja \u201cB\u201d zone, Nakatumba Margret, a 29 year old, female adult of Kanyanya, Mwanje Safik and unidentified juvenile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The concert that was organised by a one Abby Musinguzi of Abitex was parked to capacity with performances from various artists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Abby Musinguzi  has since <a href=\"https:\/\/ugmirror.com\/index.php\/2023\/01\/02\/promoter-abitex-arrested-over-freedom-city-mall-stampede\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">been arrested<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Uganda Police has today released the list of people who died in freedom city Stampede on New Year\u2019s Eve.
