We cannot economically prosper because of tribe,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>The President\u00a0was addressing Senior Command and Staff College students of the Burundi National Defence Forces, who called on him last evening, at State House, Entebbe.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_3435\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-3435\" style=\"width: 1024px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-3435\" src=\"http:\/\/ugmirror.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/idea1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"543\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ugmirror.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/idea1.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/ugmirror.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/idea1-300x159.jpg 300w, https:\/\/ugmirror.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/idea1-768x407.jpg 768w, https:\/\/ugmirror.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/idea1-600x318.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-3435\" class=\"wp-caption-text\"><em><strong>President Muuseveni receives and held a meeting with Burundi Military Delegation who has been hera for tour at State House<\/strong><\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The Burundi military students are currently on a study tour in Uganda that started on 26<sup>th<\/sup> this month and is slated to end on 1st April 2018.<\/p>\n<p>President Museveni, who gave a brief political background of Uganda to the visiting Burundi Army students, informed them that the country had become a failed state because of ideology.<\/p>\n<p>He said that the National Resistance Movement (NRM) was able to build a National Army and the economy at large,\u00a0basing on the Principles of Patriotism, Pan-Africanism and Socio-Economic transformation, among others.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Museveni emphasized that societies must embrace social change through change agents like education, switching from manual to intellectual labour as well as employing technological changes, among strategies.<\/p>\n<p>The visiting Burundi Armed Forces\u2019 Officers, through their College Commandant, Col. Justus Ciiza, thanked President Museveni and the Uganda People\u2019s Defence Forces, for the warm welcome.
