A yet to be identified Police officer was today arrested by KCCA officers after he was found urinating along Lugogo by-pass in Kampala.<\/p>\n

KCCA has for a long time warned Ugandans that it is against the law to urinate in public most especially in the City.<\/p>\n

Upon arrest, Uganda Police Force said that no one is against the law and their officer should be punished.<\/p>\n

Its worth noting that a few months ago, Kampala Capital City Authority court charged Arua Municipality MP, Abraham Abiriga with committing a public nuisance after he was found urinating on the Ministry of Finance fence along Kyaggwe road in Kampala.<\/p>\n

The KCCA maintenance law and order ordinance 2016 states that if any person is found guilty of urinating in the city, commits a public nuisance offence and is fined Shs40, 000 or imprisoned for 2 months or serve both sentences.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
