Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) has applauded Kenyans for having exhibited high levels of civic competence in the past week and by casting their votes peacefully.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Speaking to the media during a news briefing in Kampala, John Kikonyogo, the party Deputy Spokesperson, John Kikonyogo said this will act as a big lesson for Ugandans who have been following how the events unfolded in Kenya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe FDC, would like to move a vote of thanks to all Kenyans for having exhibited high levels of civic competence in the past week and by casting their votes peacefully. We also congratulate the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission for organizing credible free and fair elections, \u201csaid Kikonyogo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He explained that Kenya has not come to realize this dream in one day, it has been the interplay of transitional politics by the incumbent simply because they want to keep a bright and positive long-lasting legacy as political heads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He reminded the country that there is a forthcoming election in Busongora south constituency, calling to give the party the necessary support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the other hand, Kikonyogo urged the government to embark on transparency towards informing its citizenry about the plans it intends to implement to ensure that the economy returns to normal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Kikonyogo said the status quo has gone on forever and the situation is getting out hand<\/p>\n\n\n\n
