The other ranks on top include Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIGP), Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIGP) and Inspector General of Police (IGP).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Enanga joined the Police Force in 2001 after graduating with a bachelors degree in Social Sciences from Makerere University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He has served in different positions within the Police Force and is serving as the Force\u2019s spokesperson for the second time after being brought back in 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On Heroes Day, Enanga was among the 81 people awarded the golden jubilee medal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Other promotions:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The promotions, five Senior Commissioners of Police including Richard Edyegu , Charles Birungi Ruhuma, James Ocaya, John Nuwagira and &nbsp;Fadhil Kaali Ali were promoted to the next rank of AIGP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These have been serving as directors or heads of directorates &nbsp;but in acting capacity for many months &nbsp;since they were not yet at the rank of AIGP that all directors must be at in order to be confirmed&nbsp; in their respective positions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nine Commissioners of Police including Enanga were promoted to the next rank of Senior Commissioner of Police.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Others are Lawrence Niwabiine, the Traffic Police Director, Moses Kafeero, the former KMP commander, Hadija Namutebi, Felix Baryamwisaki, James Apora, Timothy Halango and the acting ICT director, Yusuf Ssewanyana.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Police head of Public Relations Fred Enanga has been promoted to Senior Commissioner of Police, this website has learnt.
