{"id":30319,"date":"2022-05-10T16:05:26","date_gmt":"2022-05-10T13:05:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ugmirror.com\/?p=30319"},"modified":"2022-05-10T16:05:27","modified_gmt":"2022-05-10T13:05:27","slug":"video-monster-woman-filmed-beating-own-child-arrested","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ugmirror.com\/index.php\/2022\/05\/10\/video-monster-woman-filmed-beating-own-child-arrested\/","title":{"rendered":"VIDEO: Monster Woman Filmed Beating Own Child Arrested"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Police has arrested a woman who was filmed thumping her own child to pulp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Police oscillated into action after the video went viral on social media platforms like Twitter, WhatsApp and Facebook<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cFollowing the viral video that shows a woman assaulting a child, the police at Kira Road Police Station arrested Deborah Apolot for allegedly assaulting her 10-year-old son Mark Omiat,\u201d says Kampala Metropolitan police spokesperson, Luke Owoyesigire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He further said that; \u201cThe arrest was carried out yesterday at about 9pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe suspect alleges that yesterday in the morning she gave Shs5,000 to her child to buy grocery at the shop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cShe said the boy didn\u2019t return at home. She said, she looked for the child and found him before taking him home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cShe admitted beating her son as a punishment for misbehaviour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe incident was captured on camera by the neighbours, who later informed the police.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe victim sustained serious injuries and he is receiving treatment.
