{"id":30236,"date":"2022-05-04T13:06:24","date_gmt":"2022-05-04T10:06:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ugmirror.com\/?p=30236"},"modified":"2022-05-04T13:06:25","modified_gmt":"2022-05-04T10:06:25","slug":"list-of-people-who-died-in-tirinyi-accident-released-by-police","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ugmirror.com\/index.php\/2022\/05\/04\/list-of-people-who-died-in-tirinyi-accident-released-by-police\/","title":{"rendered":"List Of People Who Died In Tirinyi Accident Released by Police"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Uganda Police Force has released the list of people who died this morning along Tirinyi road, Eastern Uganda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The fatal accident occurred at Mailo tano along Mbale-tirinyi road and claimed lives of six people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The accident involved motor vehicles Reg no- UAT 995A (Raum) and UBH 437K (Toyota Hiace) and UBJ 676W (Toyota hiace).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Six people confirmed dead have been identified as; Mulabi David, Namarome Fatima, Nambafu kurusum, Kafero isaka, and a yet to be unidentified male adult.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nandigobe saida sustained serious injuries while two other not identified survived the accident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The cause of accident has been attributed to over speeding by the speeding taxi UBJ 676W.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"767\" src=\"https:\/\/ugmirror.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/Tirinyi-accident.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-30238\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ugmirror.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/Tirinyi-accident.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/ugmirror.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/Tirinyi-accident-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/ugmirror.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/Tirinyi-accident-768x575.jpg 768w, https:\/\/ugmirror.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/Tirinyi-accident-360x270.jpg 360w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Magganda Rajab, a resident of Nasenyi sub county said that the speeding taxi wanted to overtake a bus which was ahead of them and hit the boda boda rider who was carrying a mango vendor before it hit the Raum car.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The drivers of both Toyota hiaces are on the run, and efforts are underway to have them arrested.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe want to caution all road users to be disciplined while on the road, most of the accidents are as a result of human errors that are avoidable once we drive carefully and responsibly,\u201d said ASP Nampiima Faridah, PRO Traffic Police<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Uganda Police Force has released the list of people who died this morning along Tirinyi road, Eastern Uganda.
