Ismail Mushemeza the LCV Chairperson Kitagwenda and members of the District Committee are demanding the transfer of the Chief Administrative Officer David Lubuka.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On Thursday, the office of Lubuka was closed by unknown persons attempting to stop him from accessing his office. The unknown people broke the door glasses and chained the door frames with two padlocks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ismail Mushemeza the LCV Chairperson on Friday distanced himself from the incident saying it could be the civil servants whose arrears have not been paid for a long time and have often after clashed with the CAO.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to Mushemeza, the District Executive Committee has requested the Ministry of Local Government to transfer Lubuka to another district to avoid continued conflicts with his junior staff. He says that the conflicts could affect the delivery of services. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Joseph Sekasamba Muhozi, the Deputy RDC Kitagwenda said although Lubuka had assumed his office, the presence of the police and UPDF will be maintained at the district headquarters. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sekasamba also said Police had launched an investigation into the incident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Speaking during the security meeting, Lubuka said that a section of leaders, whom he didn\u2019t want to reveal closed him out of the office. Sekasamba however attributed the incident to political conflicts between him and the District Chairperson.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
