No such a meeting happened at all. Detractors will not derail us from defending our people and the nation,&#8221; the CDF tweeted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The UPDF Spokesperson, has also refuted the reports, saying they are meant to distract the joint efforts to defeat terrorism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">The concoction by <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/TrumpetnewsUG?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@TrumpetnewsUG<\/a>  that CDF stormed out of a meeting with security chiefs discussing terror attacks is false &amp; meant to divert our joint efforts to address the real security concerns of the country at the moment. It should be treated with contempt<\/p>&mdash; &#8211; (@UPDFspokespersn) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/UPDFspokespersn\/status\/1462006237432795139?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">November 20, 2021<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>On Tuesday, six people lost their lives and 33 others were left injured, following the twin blasts that rocked the capital, Kampala.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>President Yoweri Museveni revealed on the same day that the terrorists had invited him, and that he would go after them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;They have exposed themselves when we are more ready for urban terrorism. They will perish. Rural terrorism was defeated in 2007 in the Semliki National Park. I am referring to the dead terrorists as manipulated victims of confusion.,&#8221; the president said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He added, &#8220;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Three (3) IED (Improvised Explosive Devices) have been recovered including the one of today.
