\u201cSocial media reports that Vice Chancellor Victoria University Dr Lawrence Muganga was kidnapped are false. He was arrested by joint Security Forces in connection with espionage and illegal stay in the country. Investigations into the matter have commenced,\u201d tweeted Brig Flavia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Victoria University is owned by Ugandan tycoon Dr Sudhir Ruparelia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the time of his arrest, Dr. Lawrence Muganga doubled as the Vice Chancellor and Deputy Vice Chancellor \u2013 Academic Affairs of Victoria University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
