Our system makes expired drugs inaccessible in our warehouse. I challenge you to give us an example where NMS has delivered expired drugs,&#8221; Kamabare said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\"><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/MosesKamabare?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#MosesKamabare<\/a>: We have never posted anything beyond 0.5% of expired products. We  do not deliver expired medicine because of our monitoring system.<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/ChatWithNMS?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#ChatWithNMS<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/nmsuganda?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@nmsuganda<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/lL0S7B8SeT\">pic.twitter.com\/lL0S7B8SeT<\/a><\/p>&mdash; Uganda Mirror (@UgMirror) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/UgMirror\/status\/1414221860221378563?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">July 11, 2021<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>NMS procures, stores and distributes essential medicines and medical supplies to health facilities in Uganda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Commenting on Uganda&#8217;s capacity to store the Pfizer vaccine, Kamabare said, with help from GAVI, its capacity can be boosted to store sought after jab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Our warehouse facilities have the capacity to store Pfizer vaccines. Pfizer is stored at-70 degrees. We are already storing Ebola vaccines at &#8211; 80 degrees centigrade. Yes, we can store Pfizer. But that&#8217;s a decision which has to be made at the highest level,&#8221; Kamabare said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He added that the next batch of vaccines expected to arrived at the end of July or early next month, are co-funded by the government.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kamabare implored Ugandans to concentrate on preventive measures instead of waiting for curative action given the country&#8217;s limited resources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\"><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/MosesKamabare?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#MosesKamabare<\/a>: Challenge is many Ugandans look at the supply side; <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/nmsuganda?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@nmsuganda<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/MinofHealthUG?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@MinofHealthUG<\/a> .
