Vice President Jessica Alupo has promised to work with all Ugandans across the political divide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alupo made the remarks on Monday, while delivering her acceptance speech following parliament approval of her post as VP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I promise to work with Ugandans of all political shades. The time for politicking is over, let’s get back to work,” Alupo said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She also promised to work closely with the media in execution of her duties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alupo is also District Woman Representative for Katakwi. She is a retired army officer at the rank of Major. She is a former Minister of Education. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
