Post-mortem Report has revealed that the Archbishop of Kampala Archdiocese Dr Cyprian Kizito Lwanga succumbed to Ischemic heart disease following coronary heart thrombosis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Post-mortem was carried out at Mulago National Referral Hospital on Saturday April 03, 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHis Grace Dr Cyprian Kizito Lwanga was pronounced dead at his official residence in Rubaga at 9:08am on Saturday 03rd<\/sup> April 2021 by Dr Ssekitoleko Andrew who was the physician to his grace and the first doctor on the scene,\u201d Dr Ssekitoleko Andrew at a Requiem mass held today afternoon at Rubaga Cathedral.<\/p>\n\n\n\n He further said that; \u201cA post-mortem was conducted on the same day at Mulago hospital mortuary by a team of four senior pathologists in the presence of two representatives of the family and two physicians that were delegated by the church.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cAfter careful examination of the body part of His Grace, a conclusion of the cause of death was made.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThe cause of death was Ischemic heart disease following coronary heart thrombosis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThis means a heart attack that is due to a blood clot that was found inside the artery that supplies blood to the heart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWhen this happens, it takes three to five minutes for someone to pass on.
