News anchor Josephine Karungi commonly known as Jose amongst her close friends has finally quit the station she has served for years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She is one of the pioneer employees of the Serena-based NTV.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After Maurice Mugisha\u2019s exit, Josephine Karungi was promoted to head of news for the station, a position she has held for close to five years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The latest news on our desk indicates that she resigned from the Serena based TV station.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Her exit comes after she had scooped a consultancy job with World Bank Uganda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This was revealed by Sheila Kulubya, the outgoing World Bank\u2019s communications officer in Uganda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In a farewell message to her media friends, Kulubya revealed that she has been removed from the World Bank program in Uganda and assigned a new role in Geneva, Switzerland where she is now the External Affairs Officer World Bank Group Geneva Office.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
