Suluhu Fires Port Authority Boss Over Shs5.6b Loss"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Tanzania President Samia Suluhu Hassan has suspended the Director General of the Tanzania Port Authority (TPA), Deusdedit Kakoko, and ordered an investigation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The President&#8217;s decision came in response to the Controller and Auditor General (CAG) report which shows a loss of TZS 3.6 billion by TPA (Ushs 5.6bn).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>President Suluhu&#8217;s decision was made on Sunday in which she also ordered the Prevention and Combating of Corruption Bureau (PCCB) to commence investigations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The move comes two days after fallen President John Pombe Magufuli was laid to rest in his hometown of Chato.
