He says these are NRM tactics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Despite his arrest, members of his party managed to delver their petition asking the army leadership to release their arrested supporters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kawempe South MP elect Kazibwe Bashir confirms delivery of NUP petition to CDF.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;We have delivered the petition to the CDF and Defense Ministry through which we demand immediate release of our people. This is after today&#8217;s press conference that announced the same.
