{"id":21871,"date":"2021-02-23T16:18:54","date_gmt":"2021-02-23T13:18:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ugmirror.com\/?p=21871"},"modified":"2021-02-23T16:19:05","modified_gmt":"2021-02-23T13:19:05","slug":"60-notorious-thieves-arrested-in-kampala","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ugmirror.com\/index.php\/2021\/02\/23\/60-notorious-thieves-arrested-in-kampala\/","title":{"rendered":"60 Notorious Thieves Arrested In Kampala"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Old Kampala Police yesterday at around 0400 hours carried out an intelligence-led joint operation with the Military Police.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The operation was in Kakajjo Zone in Kisenyi II Parish, Kampala Central Division, Kampala Capital City.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A total of 60 suspects were arrested and four suspected stolen phones, breaking implements, UPDF uniform shirt, a live ammunition, master car keys, pliers and loads of narcotic drugs were recovered in the residences of the suspects arrested.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image is-style-rounded\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"277\" src=\"https:\/\/ugmirror.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/thief1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-21873\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ugmirror.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/thief1.jpg 600w, https:\/\/ugmirror.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/thief1-300x139.jpg 300w, https:\/\/ugmirror.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/thief1-360x166.jpg 360w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Notable among the suspects are: Fahad Kabogoza, Asia Atimango and Adam Opwonya, who are all known notorious criminals in Kisenyi area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They are suspected to be ring leaders of the criminals who have been riding motorcycles and attacking members of the public before stealing all their properties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Police preferred charges of Being in possession of suspected stolen properties, since lady handbags and phones were recovered in their possession.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Being in possession of breaking implements and government stores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All charges against them have been sanctioned by the State Attorney.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Old Kampala Police yesterday at around 0400 hours carried out an intelligence-led joint operation with the Military Police.
