{"id":21333,"date":"2021-02-05T16:50:28","date_gmt":"2021-02-05T13:50:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ugmirror.com\/?p=21333"},"modified":"2021-02-05T16:50:33","modified_gmt":"2021-02-05T13:50:33","slug":"ex-deputy-igp-gen-sabiiti-appointed-luweero-industries-boss","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ugmirror.com\/index.php\/2021\/02\/05\/ex-deputy-igp-gen-sabiiti-appointed-luweero-industries-boss\/","title":{"rendered":"Ex-Deputy IGP Gen Sabiiti Appointed Luweero Industries Boss"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Former Inspector General of Police, Maj Gen Sabiiti Muzeyi, has been appointed General Manager Luwero Industries, a subsidiary of National Enterprise Corporation( NEC). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He replaces Brig Octavius Butuuro who has been appointed Deputy Commandant Senior Command and Staff College Kimaka.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The announcement was made on Friday by the army spokesperson Brig Flavia Byekwaso.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sabiiti was Deputy IGP until December 2020 when he was replaced by Gen Paul Lokech in changes announced by President Yoweri Museveni.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Luwero Industries is involved in manufacture and engineering to support Uganda and beyond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>National Enterprise Corporation was established in 1989 by an Act of Parliament to serve as a commercial arm of the Ministry of Defence \/Uganda Defence Forces and to produce goods and services that are beneficial to the Defence Forces and the general public.
