Uganda’s Minister for investment and Privatization, Evelyn Anite, who recently landed in ‘Taiwan’ courtesy of a flight booked by Dr Charles Ayume is yet to come to terms with her experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Latest reports indicate that the outgoing Koboko Municipality lawmaker has taken the drastic decision to withdraw the ambulance she donated to her electorate claiming they do not deserve it since they chose to reject her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anite was given an election beating by Ayume during last year’s NRM primaries, despite her bragging that she was the ‘gateway to Koboko.’<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Charles is son to Francis Ayume who was a favourite son of Koboko and West Nile and his mother Elizabeth Ayume, a Resident District Commissioner (RDC) for the same area, several years ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr Ayume was only 24 and had just completed his medical training when his father Ayume Sr, who was the Attorney General, tragically met his death in Nakasongola District on the Kampala-Gulu highway in 2004.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ayume had replaced by Bart Katureebe as Attorney General and had also served as Speaker of Parliament from 1997 to 2001.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
