Forum For Democratic Change has asked the Electoral Commission to provide the funds needed to test all the electoral witnesses ahead of 2021 general elections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a letter signed by FDC Secretary General, Hon Nathan Nandala Mafabi to the Electoral commission chairman, FDC opines that they don\u2019t have the resources to carry out the tests for all their electoral witnesses across that country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe have received information that you want all persons going to witness elections processes at the tally centre to have under gone COVID test with a certificate showing Negative,\u201d read the letter from FDC Secretary General.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The letter further reads that; \u201cThis however requires resources which are not available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis letter therefore, is to request you to provide us with resources to carry out the above test.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOtherwise, our teams shall wear face masks as per the SOPs guidelines Thank you.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
