{"id":20581,"date":"2020-12-30T17:48:19","date_gmt":"2020-12-30T14:48:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ugmirror.com\/?p=20581"},"modified":"2020-12-30T17:48:25","modified_gmt":"2020-12-30T14:48:25","slug":"bobi-wine-arrested-in-kalangala","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ugmirror.com\/index.php\/2020\/12\/30\/bobi-wine-arrested-in-kalangala\/","title":{"rendered":"Bobi Wine Arrested In Kalangala"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Uganda People\u2019s Defence Force \u2013 UPDF has arrested National Unity Platform \u2013NUP presidential flag bearer Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine in Kalangala.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kyagulanyi was arrested on Wednesday afternoon while he campaigned in the Lake Victoria Island District of Kalangala.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Reports indicate that he was arrested together with a number of his body guards and team members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe president (Robert Kyagulanyi) has been arrested in the middle of a forest. We are stranded. We can only wait for an opportunity to get out of here and look for him,\u201d Hon. Mathias Mpuuga, the NUP Vice President for Central region said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">NUP spokesperson Joel Ssenyonyi also confirmed Bobi Wine\u2019s arrest saying they (NUP) don\u2019t know their whereabouts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cYes police has arrested him together with his whole campaign team.
