Even in the incidents of Kayunga and Jinja, we want to come out clearly, that there was no death by shooting.&nbsp; They should stop covering their mistakes by misinforming the public and make them consume FAKE news which has a danger of inciting violence,\u201d said Police spokesperson Fred Enanga.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Enanga further said that; \u201cSuch acts of impurity shall not be tolerated and we shall continue responding appropriately in the face of violence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe do call upon all participants in the electoral process, including NUP and FDC to comply with the guidelines of the Electoral Commission.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It should be noted that in the past two days while Presidential candidate Robert Kyagulanyi has been engaging in running battles with Police as they tried to disperse his supporters who have been flaunting the COVD-19 guidelines.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Uganda Police has come out to confirm that there was no death by shooting in Kayunga and Jinja as it was claimed by National Unity Platform led by Hon Robert Ssentamu Kyagulanyi. &#8220;It is therefore, not true that they were shot as alleged by the NUP candidate and bloggers.
