Over 2,000 residents of Buwali Sub county, Bududa district are set to benefit from the recently commissioned Shs335million Gravity water project funded by Uganda Breweries Limited.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Construction of the water supply system commenced in May 2019 and was implemented in partnership with the Rotary Club of Kampala North, with the aim of improving access to safe and adequate water in Bududa district.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking during the commissioning, Uganda Breweries Managing Director Alvin Mbugua said;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cUganda Breweries Limited is pleased to be part of a project that will enhance growth in the community through provision of basic and essential necessities such as clean and safe water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBy constructing a reliable water supply facility in this area, we hope to ease access to clean and safe water, which will ensure a healthier community”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
