{"id":18700,"date":"2020-09-25T15:28:06","date_gmt":"2020-09-25T12:28:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ugmirror.com\/?p=18700"},"modified":"2020-09-25T15:53:38","modified_gmt":"2020-09-25T12:53:38","slug":"makerere-university-college-of-health-sciences-to-resume-teaching-on-3rd-october","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ugmirror.com\/index.php\/2020\/09\/25\/makerere-university-college-of-health-sciences-to-resume-teaching-on-3rd-october\/","title":{"rendered":"Makerere University College Of Health Sciences To Resume Teaching On 3rd October"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Makerere University College of Health Sciences will resume teaching and learning activities of semester two on Saturday 3rd October 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This development came shortly after president Museveni okayed the reopening of schools for finalists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cFinal year students in the above two categories should report to their respective Colleges for detailed academic schedules and health-related information,\u201d statement from the management reads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cTeaching and learning activities for continuing students (non finalists) will resume on 5th October 2020 under the Open Distance and e-Learning (ODeL) mode following approval by the National Council for Higher Education,\u201d the statement further reads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to management the Principals\/Deans will provide detailed schedules of teaching and learning for each College\/School.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cStudents under this category are not required to report to the University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please further note that the schedule of the remaining Semester Two shall from October 2020 to December 2020,\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The university urged all the students and staff to strictly adhere to the Standard Operating Procedures put in place by the Ministry of Health to combat the spread of COVID-19 which include mandatory wearing of a clean mask covering the mouth and nose, social distancing, washing of hands with soap and sanitizing<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Makerere University College of Health Sciences will resume teaching and learning activities of semester two on Saturday 3rd October 2020.
