Members of the National Resistance Movement (NRM) party will to today go to the polls to choose the party flag bearers for Woman Member of Parliament and directly elected MP seats for 2021 General Election.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But the violence that has rocked the party primaries is what has dominated the public debate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As results many people have sustained injuries but on a sad note Wako Stephen, one of the NRM contenders for Kigulu South in Iganga district has died this morning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Stephen was involved in an accident yesterday at Kakira sugar while he was travelling to Jinja town.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He was rushed to Jinja hospital where he has been pronounced dead this morning at 5am.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The deceased has been contesting with incumbent area MP Andrew Kaluya and Milton Muwuma.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Burial arrangements are still underway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
