Police has detained Inspector of Police Luben Ngasaki of Wandegeya police station and his son Walter Mumbere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On Sunday 23rd, Mumbere put on his father\u2019s uniform while his father was away at work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He went on to move out of the house and while drunk and started making uncoordinated statements which made people realise that he wasn\u2019t a police man.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mumbere has been charged with possession of government stores while his father has been charged with neglect of duty since he failed to protect government property.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to Kampala Metropolitan area spokesperson Patrick Onyango, IP Ngasaki will appear in disciplinary court while his son will appear in criminal court. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the mean time, the two are being held at the Wandegeya Police station as they await court.
