{"id":15442,"date":"2020-05-22T10:09:48","date_gmt":"2020-05-22T07:09:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ugmirror.com\/?p=15442"},"modified":"2020-05-22T10:09:51","modified_gmt":"2020-05-22T07:09:51","slug":"15-more-new-covid-19-cases-confirmed-in-uganda","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ugmirror.com\/index.php\/2020\/05\/22\/15-more-new-covid-19-cases-confirmed-in-uganda\/","title":{"rendered":"15 More New COVID-19 Cases Confirmed In Uganda"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Yesterday, 21 May, 2020, 15 new COVID-19 cases were confirmed in Uganda by the Ministry of Health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The total confirmed cases are now 160 after the president ordered to remove the count of non-Ugandans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">10 new cases are truck drivers who arrived via Elegu while 5 cases are among community samples<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All community cases were under quarantine at the time of testing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">21 positive foreign truck drivers who tested positive were handed over to their countries of origin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So far, the total foreign truck drivers handed over to their country of origin since Presidential directive are145.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Uganda now has 66 COVID-19 recoveries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Yesterday, 2,101 samples of truck drivers were tested, 628 community samples were also tested and this gives a total of 2,729 samples tested.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Yesterday, 21 May, 2020, 15 new COVID-19 cases were confirmed in Uganda by the Ministry of Health.
