{"id":15227,"date":"2020-05-09T23:13:49","date_gmt":"2020-05-09T20:13:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ugmirror.com\/?p=15227"},"modified":"2020-05-09T23:13:52","modified_gmt":"2020-05-09T20:13:52","slug":"2-cases-of-covid-19-detected-uganda-now-stands-at-116","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ugmirror.com\/index.php\/2020\/05\/09\/2-cases-of-covid-19-detected-uganda-now-stands-at-116\/","title":{"rendered":"2 Cases Of COVID \u2013 19 Detected, Uganda Now Stands At 116"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Today, the ministry of Health ha confirmed 2 new COVID-19 from 1,913 samples of truck drivers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The new cases are;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A 40-year-old Kenyan truck driver who arrived via Malaba and a 30-year-old Ugandan truck driver who arrived via Mirama Hills point of entry<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fortunately, all 652 community samples have tested negative for COVID-19.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This brings a total confirmed case of COVID-19 in Uganda to 116.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In total, samples that were tested today are 2,565<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The total cumulative number for samples tested to-date are 56,767<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Total number of truck drivers who have returned to their respective countries are now 31<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Uganda has 28 active cases and 55 have so far been discharged<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today, the ministry of Health ha confirmed 2 new COVID-19 from 1,913 samples of truck drivers.
