Yesterday, the Ministry of health confirmed another case of COVID \u2013 19 in Uganda out of the 2,729 samples of truck drivers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The confirmed case is 39-year-old Kenyan male truck driver who arrived via Malaba.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Efforts to track him are underway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Fortunately, 201 samples from community all tested Negative for COVID-19.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The community case confirmed on 02 May, from Rakai District has been evacuated to Masaka RRH and his family members are under quarantine<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Both Kenyan and Burundian truck drivers who were also confirmed on May 02, have also returned to their respective countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is worth noting that President Museveni will today address the nation as the 21day lockdown comes to an end tomorrow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI will address the country tonight at 8pm, guiding on the way forward as the 21-day lockdown extension comes to a close tomorrow.
