{"id":14981,"date":"2020-04-28T09:42:09","date_gmt":"2020-04-28T06:42:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ugmirror.com\/?p=14981"},"modified":"2020-04-28T09:42:11","modified_gmt":"2020-04-28T06:42:11","slug":"police-takes-over-investigation-into-sudden-death-of-famous-bra-demonstration-leader-barbara-allimadi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ugmirror.com\/index.php\/2020\/04\/28\/police-takes-over-investigation-into-sudden-death-of-famous-bra-demonstration-leader-barbara-allimadi\/","title":{"rendered":"Police Takes Over Investigation Into Sudden Death Of Famous Bra Demonstration Leader Barbara Allimadi"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Uganda police has revealed that they are investigating the sudden death of human rights activist Barbara Allimadi that occurred yesterday at her home in Kiwatule, a Kampala suburb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A statement signed by SP Patrick Onyango reads that; \u201cPolice in Kiwatule are investigating a case of sudden death that happened last night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe case was reported by one Wakibra Harry a resident of Kiwatule at around 2000hrs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIts alleged that Wakibra Harry reported the discovery of a lifeless body of one Allimadi Ann Barbara, aged 48 years, Coordinator of Alliance for National Transformation, Foreign Envoy and a resident of Kiwatule.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe scene was visited by a team of detectives who examined the area and recorded statements from the witnesses around.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cPolice preliminary findings indicates that the deceased lived alone in her own house.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe findings indicate that the deceased was found lying straight on her stomach with straight legs.
