Uganda\nhas registered 11 more positive cases of Coronavirus, Ug Mirror reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The\ncases were announced today by president Yoweri Museveni during his address to\nthe nation on the status of Coronavirus in Uganda and how to prevent its\nfurther spread.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe\nMinistry of Health confirms eleven (11) new cases of COV1D-19 in Uganda. The\ntotal number of COVID\u202219 cases now stands at 44.,\u201d reads the statement from ministry\nof health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The\n11 new confirm. cases were all under institutional quarantine at the time of\ntest. They presented with signs and symptoms that are common with COVID.19. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The\ncases include: <\/p>\n\n\n\n
1. A 29-year-old\nUgandan female. resident of Kyania, Nakawa who is a contact to one of the\npreviously confirmed cases <\/p>\n\n\n\n
2. A 27-year-old\nUgandan male, resident of Mpererwe, who arrived from the United Kingdom. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
3. A 9-year-old\nUgandan female, resident of Suubi Watoto village who arrived from the United\nKingdom. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
4. A 7-year-old\nUgandan female, resident of Suubi Watoto village, who arrived from the Unit.\nKingdom. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
5. A 30-year-old\nUgandan male, resident of Kisaasi, Kampala who arrived from the United Kingdom.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
6. A 10-year-old\nUgandan female, resident of Suubi Watoto village who arrived from the United\nKingdom. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
7. A 10-year-old\nUgandan female, resident of Suubi Watoto village who is a contact to one of the\npreviously confirmed cases. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
8. A 9-year-old\nUgandan male, resident of Biira village, Wakiso who arrived from the United\nKingdom. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
9. An\n8-year-old Ugandan male, resident of Suubi Watoto village who arrived from the\nUnited Kingdom. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
10. A\n27-year-old Ugandan female, resident of Kavule, Makerere who arrived from the\nUnited Kingdom. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
11. A\n26-year-old Ugandan male, resident of Katabi, Wakiso <\/p>\n\n\n\n
To\ndate, 1,015 are under follow up and under institutional quarantine. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
A\ntotal of 660 contacts to the confirmed cases are under follow up. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The\nMinistry of Health continues to appeal to the population to remain calm but vigilant\nand continue to practice the preventive measures. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
