As the saying about necessity and invention goes, Uganda\u2019s largest brewery; Uganda Breweries Limited (UBL), has today released a toll free line for Ugandans to order their favorite beers, spirits and whiskies for home delivery. These are available for Ugandans in Kampala, the wider central, eastern, western, northern, western and southern regions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This also comes at no delivery fees and reduced\nprices of beers with bottles going for only Ugx 3000 and cans for only Ugx\n5000. Ugandans can order for their favorite beers such as Tusker Lite, Tusker\nMalt Larger or Guineas and whiskies such as Johnnie Walker, Singleton and\nCiroc, just to mention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
These new measures come at a time when\nUganda and the world at large are experiencing the first ever almost global\nlockdown and immobilization where everyone is required to keep in doors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
From a life of \u2018parte after parte\u2019 to \u2018zero\nparte\u2019 following the cancelation of events and social gatherings, Ugandans have\ntaken to social media to stand in solidarity to orevent new cases as well as tell\nof their struggles exercising Sofia distancing in the wake of this global\npandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cStanding in solidarity with government to\ndiscourage social gatherings, we are aware that Ugandans are spending most of\ntheir time at home but still would like to have a good time. This move is the\nUBL way of saying we are together in\nthis and if you want a good time and great experience, we shall bring it home\nto you,\u201d says Annette Nakiyaga, Head of Luxury Portfolio, UBL.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
