Chinese\ntycoon Jack Ma has delivered on his promise to aid countries that are battling COVID-19\nwhich is caused by coronavirus including Uganda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The\ncargo that arrived in Uganda by Ethiopian Airlines comprises 100,000 masks,\n20,089 test kits 741 Personal Protective Equipment and 1,111 face shields.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ma\nhas sent similar shipments of medical supplies to countries in Asia, Europe,\nNorth America and Latin America.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The\nEthiopian Airlines cargo flight delivered the Jack Ma consignment today at\nEntebbe International airport. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The\nconsignment reached at the time when Uganda confirmed new 8 cases of COVID-19\nbringing the total to 9 cases all travelling from Dubai.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The\nvictims are all Ugandan nationals who had all travelled to Dubai either by Fly\nEmirates or Ethiopian Airlines and these were part of the 35 tests that were\nmade on Tuesday, 24 March 2020<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The\nminister of health Dr Jane Ruth Aceng said all cases Uganda is getting are from\nDubai and all travelled on either Ethiopian Airlines or Emirates questioning\nwhether what was reported on Dubai were facts.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
