Singer Moses Ssali commonly\u00a0 known as\u00a0 Bebe Cool\u00a0 has vowed never to suspend his music\u00a0 performances over bottle pelting incident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cPelting me with bottles is only exposing your weaknesses. You cannot continue chasing artists like that because they don\u2019t support what you believe in,\u201d said Bebe Cool.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Bebe cool’s remarks came shortly after the\u00a0ugly scenes at Lugogo Cricket Oval as he was performing during Cindy\u2019s Boom party concert when the artist was hurled with bottles and insults from a section of fans while on stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
However during a media interview on Monday, Bebe Cool accused promoters that subscribe to the People Power camp to have planted\u00a0 such groups\u00a0 of hooligans who pelted him with bottles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He noted that such incident cannot make him abandon a music business where\u00a0 he has spent over 15 years doing it with a lot of passion and with hope of changing the industry.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Bebe Cool said his decision not to leave the stage during the incident at Cindy\u2019s show despite hundreds of flying bottles towards him has exposed the clique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Bebe Cool further adviced singer\u00a0Big Eye who faced the same situation few months ago and he is currently off the stage to brave on and quickly resume his performance.\u00a0He also urged Police to introduce a rule of offering extra security at big events to avoid such incidents from happening again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOur security forces should begin charging at least Shs5 million from promoters organising very big events. The forces can then be able to deploy more plain-clothed officers amongst the crowds,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
However, on Monday, in a tweet, Gen.Muhoozi, the first son said it was wrong for security to let such hooliganism continue under their watch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHow could police and the bouncers at Cindy\u2019s concert allow a few hooligans to hurl bottles at one of Uganda\u2019s greatest artists? The same hooligans beat up women on women\u2019s day for simply loving President Museveni and Bebe Cool,\u201d Lt. Gen.Muhoozi said in a tweet on Monday morning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
