The\nvictim is a daughter to PC Azam Xizel Alesi, a 33-year-old, Police Officer,\ncurrently deployed in Somalia with African Union Peacekeeping Mission. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
She\nleft her daughter with her best friend, identified as Badaru Fortunate a 33-year-old,\nhousewife, and resident of Kiyinda, Kira Municipality, Wakiso District, where\nshe is currently staying with her husband. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The\ntwo best friends once lived together at Naguru barracks in 2014<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During\nthe 6months period, that the mother was away on duty in Somalia, the neighbours\nkept hearing the victim screaming due to torture from her guardian. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
They\nbrought the matter to the attention of her husband who cautioned her, but she\ninstead continued torturing the victim wherever her husband was not around. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
She\nwould pour water on the victim, cane her all over the body, push her against\nthe wall and pierce match sticks around her private parts, as well as making\nher sleep in the wardrobe. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
She\nclaims she was disciplining the victim wherever she would urinate or defecate\nin the house but treated her children of the victim\u2019s age differently. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
