Uganda students in China have spoken out on their situation\non social media under the hash tag #EvacuateUgandansfromWuhan in order to get\nthe government\u2019s attention. However all their efforts are still being ignored\nas the government claims they are safer there and they risk spreading the virus\nto others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The students are living in fear in a city that is under\nlockdown so far from home as people are dropping dead on the streets, some of\nthe infected are trying to infect others. The food supplies are also running\nout and staying inside all day is also very bad for their mental health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Earlier this week there was a post stating that China was seeking High Courts’ approval to kill all the infected in order to control the spread of the virus. There are many cases of the virus that aren\u2019t reported to medical centers so this doesn\u2019t really seem like a solution to the virus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The students have asked the government to let their families\npay for their evacuation and keep them in quarantine until they are sure none\nof them is still sick.
