Puffy, Bumpy Or Hairy? (OH MY!)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Boobs are a glorious thing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

(Trust me, I have them<\/strong>!)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They come in\u00a0all shapes and sizes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I mean, not mine. Mine come in two sizes (lets be real, we are none of us perfectly symmetrical creatures). But yes, sizes galore exist, and thank heavens for that! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

From perky pep-filled mams, to chunky, clumsy mummies, the world is\u00a0one giant symphony of bosom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And\u00a0the nipple?\u00a0Well, the nipple is the sonata!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

(Concerto? I’ll be honest, I have kind of lost the thread on this one.) <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We all have learned to appreciate our bodies as being perfectly unique snowflakes, and to a certain extent, that’s totally true. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

But it turns out that when it comes to nipples, there are just 8 different types<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So while you might be able to do something special with your boobs, like unlock your gym locker, your nipples probably fall into the same category as one of the horrified women watching you perform said titty trick. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Which type of nipple<\/a> looks like yours?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. The Supernumarary Nipple<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"\/<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Some folks have an extra nip! Which means good luck, according to a fact that I just made up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They can appear as full nipples, or as moles. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. The Hairy Nipples<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"\/<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Everyone has hair follicles around their nips, but some have more than others. It’s okay to pluck them, but be gentle!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You SO don’t want an ingrown nip hair.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

(Trust me. I’ve been there.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. The Bumpy Nipples<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bumps around a nipple? Ain’t no thing!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Those are your Montgomery glands. They can look like whiteheads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In fact, I long assumed mine were. You can even squeeze dead skin cells from them, but don’t, you don’t want to risk a glandular infection. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. The Unilateral Inverted Nipples<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"\/<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Unilaterally inverted nipples are nips that are always happy to see you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Expect them to wink in greeting, constantly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is totally normal, one of biology’s glorious quirks. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. The Inverted Nipples<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inverted nipples are when both nipples go inwards instead of out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s a nice, contained look, no worrying about cold movie theaters for you! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

6. The Puffy Nipples<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Puffy nipples are small soft mounds perched on top of each breast. They are extra sensitive to cold.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They are also adorable. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

7. The Flat Nipples<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Flat nipples keep a super low profile. They blend right into the areola, and are all “nipple, what nipples?” <\/p>\n\n\n\n

8. The Protruding Nipples<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Protruding nipples are always up for action. Literally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
